SDG 3.3.2 Health outreach programmes

                         Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University has implemented a project to improve health care, occupations, and life-long learning for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. The participants are 80 individuals with disabilities and 40 caregivers and primary health care personnel. The project is as follows:

  1. Enhancing skills in physical and mental health care with holistic approach targeting individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and primary health care staff, including village health volunteer and public health Focusing on Up-Skill and Re-Skill workshops and comprehensive success or lessons learned in health promotion specifically for disabled people living in the local community.
  2. Workshops on vocational skills and culinary skills for individuals with disabilities and caregivers through Tech Transfer, which is joint sessions with successful stories in the area, aiming to learn a process in entrepreneurship.
  3. Life-long learning skills for people with disabilities and caregivers in the current world of interconnected information and communication technology, aiming to use the technology to assist daily activities.
  4. Improving life skills and workshop on healthy personality for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. The learning process is through field trips and recreational activities. The participants can practice design thinking with an emphasis on caregivers’ role as facilitators. The aim is to create a network of people with disabilities and a practice guideline for other communities.
