The university focuses on nutritious and budget-friendly food, using a balanced approach that includes affordable plant-based proteins (30–40% cheaper than meat) and fresh seasonal produce through partnerships with local farms. The university’s food court offers a wide selection of healthy and nutritious meals that are more affordable than typical food prices. The average price of a single dish meal at the university is 40 baht, compared to the national average of 60 baht, making food at the university around 30% cheaper than the market price. There are also regular courses and short courses in nutrition and cooking. Cooking demonstrations and budget-friendly recipes help students make healthy food choices. In 2023, the program organized a Healthy Fruit Sherbet (Berries) training program to enhance the knowledge and skills of students and interested participants.
