The Vice President of Chiang Mai University, also serving on the Subcommittee for the Development and Elevation of Educational Quality to Excellence, was the guest expert. Acting President Dr. Sompong Raksatham chaired the opening ceremony.

The training aimed to deepen understanding of the 2024–2027 EdPEx criteria. It also prepared attendees to develop the self-assessment report for the 2023 academic year, covering academic support units, faculties, and the university as a whole. The target audience comprised the executive team, deans, directors of offices and institutes, and the faculty and personnel responsible for educational quality assurance across academic support units, faculties, and the university. Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University began applying EdPEx within its academic support units in 2014, and the 2023 academic year marks the second use of EdPEx criteria for internal quality assurance at the faculty and university levels. Adoption of the criteria advances the university toward international standards and promotes sustainable quality in educational management. Accordingly, the Standards and Quality of Education division organized this session to guide preparation of the self-assessment report in line with EdPEx guidelines and to support internal quality assessment for the 2023 academic year.
