Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, through the Health Promotion Division, Student Development and Public Health Curriculum Unit, is the primary responsible body for providing services related to sexual and reproductive health care at the university. The office is located in Building 39 and offers information and knowledge on sexual health and reproductive health to students and staff.
The Student Development Division has developed plans to support students from the moment they enter higher education, through orientation programs at the university, faculty, and department levels, which include topics on sex education, adjustment to university life, and living safely in the university environment. Additionally, the division has issued guidelines for students on how to behave and live in a safe and secure manner.
As part of the Public Health Science curriculum in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the university organizes educational programs presented online, covering topics such as contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and preventing pregnancy among students. It was found that the majority of the sample group had a good level of knowledge and understanding of sexual and reproductive health, with up to 82% showing high levels of awareness.
