The University has made efforts to conserve cultural heritage in collaboration with local communities, municipalities, and external network communities that carry out arts and cultural activities, such as the Ministry of Culture, the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Cultural Office, and the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Office of Buddhism. Specifically, it presents Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan (Phra Borommathat Nakhon Si Thammarat) as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The university also fulfills a pivotal role as the executive committee within the framework of the Academic and Translation Document Committee. Academic documents are produced to conserve, promote, and disseminate information about Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan. The university serves as a key collaborating entity with cultural network organizations in missions related to this endeavor, both through task forces or committees and by conducting research in arts and culture.
