SDG 6.1 Water management educational opportunities

The program of Environmental Science at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University has consistently conducted efforts to promote water resource management. The objective of water management education is to include water-related concepts, practices, and issues in the educational programs and curriculum provided in schools. This encompasses the establishment of experiential learning opportunities, including field trips and citizen science initiatives, the enhancement of awareness via school campaigns, the provision of professional development for educators, and the implementation of interdisciplinary methodologies to link water management with overarching themes such as sustainability and community resilience. The major objective is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to become informed, responsible, and proactive stewards and decision-makers in the sustainable use and protection of water resources.
