Planning Development – New Build Standards at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University (In Place by 2024)

Developing university buildings and facilities that are modern, safe, and aligned with sustainable development principles.

Policy and Implementation

The university maintains a policy to develop its buildings and facilities, ensuring they are modern, safe, and aligned with sustainable development principles. To advance that policy, a project has been launched to improve planning and new building standards. The objective is to set guidelines and criteria for the design, construction, and renovation of buildings in accordance with green building principles.

Implementation includes:

  • Reviewing design guidelines based on established standards.
  • Selecting sites and designing new buildings that prioritize solar energy and water recycling systems.
  • Evaluating and reporting the sustainability outcomes to the Green University committee.

This initiative ensures that all new buildings contribute to environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and long-term resilience, reinforcing the university’s commitment to creating a safe, modern, and sustainable campus for students, staff, and the surrounding community.

Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University continuously develops its infrastructure with sustainability in mind, setting benchmarks for safe, eco-friendly, and energy-efficient buildings that serve current and future generations.
