Promotion of Arts and Heritage (2024)<\/h1>\n

\n Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University encourages local arts and heritage by organizing public performances, workshops, cultural festivals, and exhibitions. These activities foster understanding, appreciation, and preservation of local culture, traditions, and creative talents.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

1. Academic Seminar and Practical Workshop on Long “Tid Thap” Drum Beating<\/h2>\n

Date:<\/strong> April 5 & 13, 2024
\nVenue:<\/strong> Wat Thepnimit, Tha Ngiew Subdistrict, Mueang District
\nTarget Group:<\/strong> 100 participants<\/p>\n

This workshop aimed to preserve and transmit the fine arts, culture, and local wisdom of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, allowing local youth to learn and appreciate the value of local traditions.<\/p>\n

This market featured cultural performances (Hom Rong, shadow puppet theater, Nora dance, contemporary dance), traditional foods, and local products. Open to the public free of charge, it fostered cultural exchange and supported local entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

5. Revival of “Khunmak Phra Pathom” Tradition<\/h2>\n

Date:<\/strong> July 12\u201314, 2024
\nActivities:<\/strong> Hands-on workshop for local youth on Khanmak arrangement and the Grand Procession Offering Ceremony (“Hae Khan Mak Phra Pathom”).<\/p>\n

This event revived local wedding traditions, engaged more than 500 participants, and promoted community cultural awareness.<\/p>\n
